'I streamed a new track from the wonderful Jill Andrews – the title cut from her upcoming album The Mirror. About six bars into the song, Jia comes in and asks about it. She likes it! This is the first time she’s said anything nice about any music that wasn’t in Chinese. So I showed her Jill’s pictures (which she correctly identified as “beoootifool”) and then she ran upstairs and came back with a notebook where she’d written down the words Yellow Bird.'
